This massage incorporates eastern and western techniques performed by two massage therapists. As with most massage treatments, especially in worldwide spas, 4 handed massage treatments are always carried out by females. Yin Yang 4 handed massage is carried out by Chris and a female therapist.

It is based upon the principles of yin & yang theory, that everything must balance, thus incorporating the energies of male and female touch.

They say, especially in massage therapy that therapists usually take away your bad energy and infuse you with their own healing energy, but this does not always have to involve touch, as Reiki therapists could tell you.

Without trying to sound too mysitical, qi (energy) is all around us and we all have an ability to feel it. Many of us cannot by will, but we have all experienced it on a sub conscious level, for example, probably you have been in a room and have felt that someone was looking at you and when you turned in the direction you felt the qi coming from, straight away you noticed that person staring at you intently.

In Holistic (Swedish) massage, the emphasis is always on keeping physical touch as not to break chain of energy and spirituality, but from an eastern therapists point of view, the moment you meet/walk into a therapists room that interplay of energy has begun.
